Cirvee Academy has successfully hosted the third edition of Tech Cirvee Fest, bringing together more than 7,000 young people, entrepreneurs, technology professionals and industry leaders for one of Africa’s largest youth-focused technology festivals.
The event took place at the International Conference Centre (ICC), University of Ibadan, after being rescheduled from June 6 to July 11, 2026, due to security concerns in some parts of the country.
Organised by Cirvee Academy and convened by its Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Nimi Adegbite, the festival featured a full day of technology discussions, networking sessions, innovation exhibitions, entertainment and career opportunities aimed at preparing young Africans for the digital economy.
Speaking at the event, Adegbite said Tech Cirvee Fest was established to inspire young people to embrace technology while connecting them with opportunities for personal and professional development.
“We believe technology should not only educate but also inspire,” he said. “Tech Cirvee Fest was created to show young Africans that they can learn, build, create and compete globally. By bringing together world-class speakers, industry leaders, creators and entertainers on one stage, we’re creating an ecosystem where opportunity meets ambition.”
The festival featured keynote speeches and panel sessions led by notable industry figures, including Jubril Arogundade, Chief Executive Officer of Hybrid Motors; Ruth Okoli, Chief Executive Officer of Nestuge; Joy Adesanya; and AJ Skylar, Chief Executive Officer of The Braiding Vault.
The speakers shared perspectives on entrepreneurship, technology, innovation and the future of work.
The event also combined technology and entertainment, with appearances by music star Mr P, rapper Ycee, media personality Adeife and other entertainers.
Beyond the discussions and networking opportunities, Cirvee Academy said it awarded millions of naira in grants, scholarships, laptops, gadgets and sponsored international trips to exceptional participants.
The academy also graduated hundreds of students who completed training programmes in various technology disciplines during the event.
According to the organisers, Tech Cirvee Fest reflects Cirvee Academy’s broader commitment to developing digital talent and expanding access to technology education across Africa.
Cirvee Academy currently offers training in software engineering, product design, cybersecurity, data analysis, artificial intelligence, digital marketing, project management and other technology-related fields through both physical and virtual learning platforms.
The academy added that it supports young professionals through mentorship programmes, career development initiatives and strategic partnerships aimed at connecting graduates with opportunities within and beyond Africa.
