The MTN Ghana Foundation stated that the investment underscores its commitment to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn, innovate, and dream bigger through technology.

The MTN Ghana Foundation has inaugurated a new ICT and Robotics Centre at Asafo M/A Basic School in the Asokwa Municipality, further advancing its mission to promote digital education and equip young learners with skills for the future.

The newly commissioned facility aims to provide students with access to information and communication technology (ICT) resources and robotics education, enabling them to develop the digital competencies required in an increasingly technology-driven world. The initiative highlights the Foundation’s dedication to encouraging innovation and expanding access to quality STEM education across Ghana.

Through the introduction of ICT and robotics training at the basic school level, students will gain hands-on experience in coding, problem-solving, critical thinking, and emerging technologies. The centre is expected to foster creativity while preparing learners for future academic pursuits and career opportunities within the digital economy.

According to the MTN Ghana Foundation, the investment demonstrates its belief that every child should have the opportunity to learn, innovate, and dream bigger through technology. The Foundation remains committed to investing in educational infrastructure and digital inclusion programmes that empower young people and contribute to Ghana’s broader digital transformation agenda.
