Jetour Nigeria has showcased its expanding vehicle line-up, combining automotive technology, luxury and cultural entertainment at the three-day Jetour Experience Abuja 2026, held from September 22 to 24 at the Maha Event Centre, Garki.
The event attracted automotive enthusiasts, industry stakeholders, prospective buyers and other guests, providing opportunities to explore the brand’s vehicles through test drives, technology demonstrations and interactive sessions.
Moving beyond a conventional automobile exhibition, the event featured music, spoken-word performances, violin displays, Chinese cultural dances, artwork, panel discussions and a live stage play. Popular Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe, popularly known as Odogwu Panrara, also made a surprise appearance on the opening day.
The vehicles remained the main attraction, with Jetour displaying models powered by petrol, hybrid and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) technologies.
The line-up featured the X50, X70 Plus, X70 PHEV, X90 Plus, T2, T2 PHEV, Dashing and G700, alongside the newly introduced T1 and F700. Test-drive sessions allowed visitors to assess the vehicles’ performance, comfort, technology and driving dynamics.
Speaking during a panel discussion, the Managing Director of New Era AutoVehicle Services, Kemi Koyejo, said Nigerian motorists were increasingly seeking vehicles that matched their individual preferences and needs.
“There is no one-size-fits-all product,” she said, explaining Jetour’s “Jet plus Tour” concept and “Drive Your Future” philosophy, which cater to different mobility needs through petrol, hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains.
The Executive Director of Elizade Nigeria Limited, Dr Ademola Philip-Adewunmi, said Jetour had established a substantial and growing presence in Nigeria within three years of entering the market.
He identified after-sales support as a major consideration for vehicle buyers, noting that Jetour offered a five-year or 150,000-kilometre warranty, alongside structured trade-in programmes and spare-parts availability.
“Nigerian buyers are increasingly research-driven. They aren’t just looking at aesthetics; they are paying close attention to technology, connectivity, performance and long-term value for money,” he said.
Safety technology also featured prominently at the event. Corps Commander Cherries Muta of the Federal Road Safety Corps commended the integration of driver-warning systems and proximity sensors into modern vehicles, noting their potential to promote safer driving and reduce road incidents.
At the closing ceremony, Jetour’s Senior Manager for Africa, Perry Huo, thanked Nigerian customers and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to expanding its presence in Nigeria and other African markets.
The event highlighted Jetour’s strategy of combining product innovation, customer engagement and lifestyle experiences to strengthen its position in Nigeria’s increasingly competitive automotive market.
