Nigerian Tech Company Launches AI-Powered Platform Linking Artisans and Investors

S. Mahi Global Services Ltd. has unveiled its flagship digital platform, the S-MAHII Mobile App, an artificial intelligence-powered marketplace aimed at transforming service delivery, artisan engagement, and commerce in Nigeria and beyond.

The company announced that the application, developed under the leadership of its Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Alhaji Saidu Abdulmalik, became available on the Google Play Store following its official launch in July 2026.

According to the firm, the technology has been registered with the Nigerian Copyright Commission (NCC) under Registration Number 318632. The platform is designed to bridge the gap between skilled artisans and customers by providing digital tools that enhance communication, accessibility, and transaction security.

In a statement issued to announce the launch, the company highlighted one of the app’s major features—an AI-powered real-time translation system capable of translating conversations across several languages, including Hausa and English. The feature is intended to eliminate language barriers between artisans and their clients.

The S-MAHII Mobile App also incorporates voice-to-text and text-to-voice technologies, enabling users to search for services through voice commands and receive spoken responses without typing.

Another notable feature is its location-based service discovery system, which allows users to identify nearby service providers, including mechanics, plumbers, electricians, and other artisans, based on their real-time locations.

In addition, the platform includes an in-app messaging system that enables customers and service providers to negotiate jobs, discuss project specifications, and agree on pricing before services are delivered.

To further improve convenience, the company stated that users can securely register their residential addresses, allowing verified artisans to provide services at designated locations even when customers are not physically present.

The firm also disclosed that the application features an “Embassy Dashboard,” designed to support collaboration with foreign diplomatic missions in monitoring citizens travelling abroad for employment opportunities. According to the company, the feature is intended to promote safer and more transparent labour mobility.

Beyond the Nigerian market, S. Mahi noted that the application was built on a multi-tenant architecture, enabling it to automatically adapt to different countries through the localisation of currencies, languages, and artisan directories while operating as a single global platform.

The company further revealed that it is seeking investors through a franchise model that grants exclusive operational rights within Nigeria on a state or economic zone basis. Foreign investors, it said, can obtain country-wide master licences for international markets.

Under the arrangement, franchise operators are expected to retain registration revenues generated within their territories while remitting an agreed royalty to the technology developer.

S. Mahi said it is inviting corporate organisations, institutional investors, and prospective state coordinators to explore partnership opportunities through franchise agreements and other investment arrangements.

Industry analysts observed that digital platforms connecting artisans with customers are gaining increasing acceptance in Nigeria, driven by rising smartphone penetration and growing demand for trusted, location-based services. However, they noted that the long-term success of such platforms would depend on user adoption, effective verification systems, and consistent service quality.
