Tanzania Telecommunications Corporation (TTCL) has reaffirmed its commitment to developing ICT talent by providing practical training on the National ICT Broadband Backbone (NICTBB) to students from the Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT).
During a visit to TTCL’s headquarters, the students gained hands-on experience with the technologies, infrastructure, and operational systems that power the National ICT Broadband Backbone, which serves as the foundation for reliable communications services across Tanzania.
The initiative is aimed at bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world industry practice by providing students with practical experience in national telecommunications infrastructure. Through the programme, TTCL seeks to equip aspiring ICT professionals with the technical knowledge and skills required to contribute to Tanzania’s expanding digital economy.
The training demonstrates TTCL’s continued investment in ICT capacity building and its broader commitment to preparing the next generation of telecommunications and technology professionals in the country.
