Robo.ai Inc. has announced a series of senior leadership appointments at its subsidiary, Neurovia AI, an artificial intelligence visual data processing and compression technology company.
The company has appointed Mr. Khalifa Mohammed Alshehhi as Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ziad Shaltuni as Chief Growth Officer, and Mr. Ahmed Alhashmi as Chief Marketing Officer, with all appointments taking immediate effect.
The appointments come following Robo.ai’s acquisition of Neurovia AI and represent another major milestone in the company’s growth journey. Since the acquisition, Neurovia AI has launched its NeuroStream™ product, completed live technical validation at the 9th International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR 2026), and participated as an Official Partner at the 3rd Government Cybersecurity Summit and the 2026 UAE Data Center Infrastructure & Cloud Summit.
Following the earlier appointments of the company’s Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer, the new executive appointments mark a significant step in strengthening Neurovia AI’s local organisational development and establishing the foundation for the large-scale commercial deployment of the NeuroStream™ platform across government and enterprise markets.
Khalifa Mohammed Alshehhi Appointed Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Alshehhi brings more than three decades of senior leadership experience spanning engineering, network operations, international business and group-level investment management.
Throughout his career, he has held senior positions at the UAE Ministry of Interior and Etisalat, one of the Gulf region’s largest telecommunications groups. He has also played key roles in major technology and telecommunications development initiatives and expansion programmes.
His extensive experience includes working closely with regulators, government institutions and international operators, while witnessing and contributing to the Gulf telecommunications industry’s transformation from traditional networks to today’s digital ecosystem.
Ziad Shaltuni Named Chief Growth Officer
Mr. Shaltuni joins Neurovia AI with more than 20 years of experience in commercial strategy, growth transformation and revenue management across North America and the Gulf region.
He previously served as Chief Sales and Customer Care Officer at Saudi telecommunications operator Mobily, where he led a nationwide sales and customer operations team of more than 3,000 employees. During his tenure, he managed a revenue portfolio exceeding US$5 billion and oversaw the large-scale expansion of the company’s retail and franchise network.
He later served as Vice President of Sales for the Middle East and North Africa at OSN and as Chief Executive Officer of Modern Distribution Company in Riyadh. He has also provided executive advisory services to regional technology firms, including Space42, which is part of G42.
As Chief Growth Officer, Mr. Shaltuni will lead Neurovia AI’s growth strategy, commercialization plans and channel ecosystem development.
Ahmed Alhashmi Appointed Chief Marketing Officer
Mr. Alhashmi, a UAE national, is a seasoned marketing and brand executive with more than 30 years of experience in marketing, product management and brand development across the Gulf region.
He previously served as Group Senior Vice President of Brand and Communication at Etisalat Group and as Chief Commercial Officer of the company’s India operations. He also played a pivotal role in the creation and launch of the Mobily brand in Saudi Arabia in 2005.
In addition, he has held senior positions including Senior Advisor and Director of Marketing and Communication at Khalifa University, as well as Director of Marketing and Corporate Communication at Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).
During his decade-long service at Mobily and Etisalat, he managed cumulative marketing investments of more than US$400 million.
As Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Alhashmi will oversee Neurovia AI’s brand architecture, marketing communications strategy and regional market development efforts.
Building a UAE-Based Leadership Team
Commenting on the appointments, Benjamin Zhai, Chief Executive Officer of Robo.ai, described Neurovia AI as a key pillar of the company’s AI software strategy.
